In the meantime, she focused on her career in music, Kramer continued to act and was in films like Heart of the Country 2013 (which was a hit with her fans) or Country Crush 2016 (which would be a hit with music fans as well). Kramer released her sophomore studio album Thirty One together with Warner Music Nashville, in October 2015. I Got the Boy - a Top Five country single - and Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead vocalist, in a duet with her helped the album achieve even greater popularity. In September of 2016, her time on the 23rd Season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months and ended with a 4th place finish. That year she also had an adult contemporary smash featuring Feels Like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
